***************************************************************** The Elder Scrolls III : Morrowind, Bloodmoon, Tribunal Glowing Flames Mod By PoodleSandwich ***************************************************************** Index: 1. What does it do? 2. Installation 3. NoMoreLightlessFlames 4. True Lights and Darkness Tweaks ***************************************************************** 1. WHAT DOES IT DO? ***************************************************************** This mod fixes two issues in Morrowind: - Flames and glowing things like embers being invisible in areas of heavy darkness - Unlit Candles and other light sources still having their flames visible ***************************************************************** 2. INSTALLATION ***************************************************************** - Paste the contents of the included "Data Files" folder into your Morrowind, Data Files folder - If you have other mods installed, you may want to create a backup of your meshes, L folder first OR, if you're using OpenMW: - Create a folder for Glowing Flames - Open the included "Data Files" folder and copy the file path - Paste it into your openmw.cfg file in quote marks after: data= ***************************************************************** 3. NoMoreLightlessFlames ***************************************************************** This esp is required to prevent light sources in game that are unlit and do not emit light from appearing as though they are glowing or have flames. This was a an issue in Vanilla Morrowind but will be even more noticable if you use Glowing Flames without this plugin active. Load AFTER True Lights and Darkness Load BEFORE TrueLightsAndDarkness Tweaks ***************************************************************** 4. TrueLightsAndDarkness Tweaks ***************************************************************** Optional adjustments to some light sources' color and brightness values. It is recommended for people using True Lights and Darkness and should be loaded AFTER that mod. But True Lights and Darkness is not required. If you are using True Lights and Darkness these tweaks will: - Restore the color of some candles from plane white to their Vanilla colors - Mellow the colors of some of the more garishly vivid candles - Increase the brightness of torches and lanterns slightly If you are NOT using True Lights and Darkness these tweaks will: - Make some colored candles' lights match the color of their wax in a natural looking way - Increase the brightness of torches and lanterns slightly Load AFTER True Lights and Darkness Load AFTER NoMoreLightlessFlames
