******************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************** The Elder Scrolls III MORROWIND: Rigging Morrowind v. 1.0 By Axeljk ******************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************** Index: 1. Installation 2. Features 3. Save Games 4. Contact ******************************************************************************** 1. INSTALLATION ******************************************************************************** Find where you installed Morrowind on your computer. Dump these files in it. NOTE: The chuzei helm .esp is OPTIONAL. Your neck will clip while wearing the helm. Use the plug-in if you are not using a body replacer. It won't have any effect if you're using Better, Robert's, or some other body replacer (they attach the neck to the torso). From my limited testing it shouldn't clip if using those mods. ******************************************************************************** 2. FEATURES ******************************************************************************** This all started when I wanted to play a character wearing a skirt like the Dreamer Prophet in Vivec. Not only did the skirt have horrible stretching, but the tassets(?) covering the crotch clipped horribly with it. I took this opportunity to learn about rigging and give myself PTSD. My original goal was editing UVs and weights to minimize stretching and clipping. I really love Morrowind's visuals, warts and all. However... I found it difficult to adhere to the line I drew. The Gah-Julan cuirass in particular is an abomination as the result of my endless fiddling. The novel idea of the bonemold plates around your abdomen moving independently took hold of my puny brain. Mistakes were made. Lessons learned. I'll definitely repeat these errors again. ******************************************************************************** 3. SAVE GAMES ******************************************************************************** Since this only replaces a few models it shouldn't have any effect on your save game. If you're using the optional plug-in for the chuzei helm, it should be safe to use with fresh and old saves alike without issue. Uninstalling should not cause any issues either since the armor piece is the only record altered. However it is still recommended that you clean any save used, and make a backup save before enabling or disabling the plugin. The plugin was cleaned with TESAME and should not contain any dirty GMST or references. ******************************************************************************** 4. CONTACT ******************************************************************************** I can be reached by sending a personal message at the Nexus, however I do not use it frequently. I did have a profile on the Elder Scrolls official forums but I'm no longer sure where that exists. Is it still green? https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?showuser=25459689
