Version: 1.0 Date: 8/30/2011 Category: Abodes - Player homes Author: Carah Description =========== Built beside the wayshrine of Arkay, Casa Bella Vista has protected pilgrims, travelers, and locals of the area before the walls of Skingrad went up and Castle Skingrad came into being. Later, most of the people moved into Skingrad, but a few houses still remain of the original Barony, close to the Baronial Manor. The decendents of those that stayed are employed at the local vineyard, and go about their normal lives when not at work, and raise their families. A pleasant place not far from the hustle and bustle of the city, a person can still enjoy the more leisurely country living of Casa Bella Vista. Location ======== Located outside of Skingrad, south of Tamika's Vineyard, beside the Wayshrine of Arkay. Details ======= This is a quest related player home. By playing the small quest your character becomes the owner and gains the title of Baron or Baroness of Casa Bella Vista. The Casa Bella Vista Faction and title will show up in your journal under the factions tab and you gain 2 fame points. It's not just a title; The Imperial Legion should like you better, so should other Nobles, and of course your servants and the settlers of your Barony. If your Infamy is higher then your Fame. You will not notice much of a difference. I added a small settlement west of the manor with NPC's that are part of your barony. Also, a stable with your own horse, because a Noble should have a wonderful steed. I definitely recommend mods that expand the outside of Skingrad to enhance the role of your character's title. All containers that end with 'Storage' are non-respawning. Install ======= 1. Extract the files to a temporary location. 2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary. 3. Copy files to Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\ 4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a check mark beside the .esp file(s). 5. If you are installing any of the optional files you will need to install the main file first, then install the optional file, and select "Yes" to overwrite the esp. Uninstall ========= 1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck Casa Bella Vista.esp file. 2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod. There might be overlapping and/or conflicts. Known Issues or Bugs ==================== There is a landscaping issue with 'The Entius Farm' for Kvatch Rebuilt. The Kvatch Rebuilt Patch should (but not entirely sure) fix the land covering the entrance to the farm house. Without the patch I was still able to get into the farm house, but aesthetically it looks better with the land fix. I don't know if it conflicts with mods that do major overhauls like WAC and OOO, because my relic of a computer can't push them. No conflicts have been seen in my game from any mods that extend Skingrad. A little overlap with Extended Skingrad Vineyards, but nothing worth fixing. With low end computers, like mine, it will be a little laggy inside the manor, but I noticed if I take my time inside, and let it finish loading or refresh it lessens the lag. Let me know if you find any issues or incompatibilities like floating objects, missing meshes or textures, quest not working, the servant's finding you drunk and chaining you to the chamber pot, excreta . Malachi Delacot and myself have tested every square inch of this mod, and it works fine in both our games. I know my mod isn't perfect, and I do my best to my ability, so be patient with me. *No dirty edits were detected in this esp* Contact ======= Search for Carah, and send me a private message in the Nexus forums.
