OVERVIEW =============== Removes the level requirements for the Daedric Quests, and replaces it with one based on fame/infamy. =============== 2. REQUIREMENTS =============== OBSE is REQUIRED. ======================== 3. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN ======================== There are two versions, a normal and an easy version. See Details below. Choose only one. Extract the esp to your data folder, activate it, and play. ===================== 4. Detailed Changes ===================== The only changes are to the Daedric Statue scripts and to the journal entries. Instead of checking the player's level, the game will now check for the player's renown. In keeping with the moral ambiguity of the Daedric Princes, there is no distinction between fame or infamy. So, for example, a player with 3 fame and 2 infamy would have a total renown of 5 and be able to initiate the Azura quest. The requirements range from 5 to 50. I've taken the original level requirements and multiplied them by 2.5 to get the renown requirement for the normal version (the easy version just changes the level requirement to renown). Depending on your play style, this may make the Daedric quests easier to obtain or harder. A player could, in theory, get Goldbrand at level 1, but it would probably entail going on a massive killing spree to gain enough infamy (something that might delight Boethia, who knows). SAVE GAMES =============== There should be no problems adding to or removing from an existing game, although it's probably best not to do so in the middle of a daedric quest. ============================ 6. CONFLICTS / KNOWN ERRORS ============================ Will conflict with any mod that alters the Daedric Statue scripts. As far as I know, the only ones that do that are ones that simply remove the level requirement entirely, such as OOO. Ensure this loads after OOO, and I believe it should be fine. (UOP script fixes have been preserved). If you encounter any bugs or problems, please let me know. ================================ 7.
