sacred Oak Replacer and Urasek Patch Author: mhahn123 The "SacredOak_Settlement.esp" included in this file is a replacer for the original esp. and still requires the original mod installed in order to function. It includes the entire content of the original Sacred Oak Settlement but relocates it to the south by roughly one game cell for compatibility. Other than location, nothing has been changed. All functionality will remain the same. The "SacredOakSettlement-Urasek patch.esp" allows Sacred Oak and Urasek to live together peacefully by performing minor landscape and path grid adjustments at the cell borders. Why do it this way? ------------------- After looking at these two in the construction set it was just much easier and cleaner to move Sacred Oak ahead of time and then create a patch with Urasek. I spent roughly 2-3 hours on both the replacer and patch. Trying to disentangle the two original mods would have taken the better part of an entire day, if I was lucky, and may have resulted in broken event chains from one or both mods that would have then needed fixing. Requirements ------------ sacred Oak Settlement by Lyriath01 Urasek by Arthmoor Installation ------------- Drop both of the .esps in your Oblivion Data directory. You will be asked to allow SacredOak_Settlement.esp to overwrite the original, click yes. adjust your Load order and play. Load Order ----------- SacredOak_Settlement.esp Urasek.esp SacredOakSettlement-Urasek patch.esp Compatibility/Known Issues -------------------------- It doesn't always happen, but I have had some glitchy water in the shoreline area near the villages (water surface reflections go dark in a big square block). My understanding is that water reflections are part of the game's LOD system, and running Tes4LODGen seems to fix it, at least on my machine. If that doesn't work for you, sorry, I don't know where the issue really is. Don't know of any other mods in this area that would conflict directly with these exact locations. If you find anything else just send me a message and I'll look into it.
