Name: Ye Olde Gallery Paintings Version: 1.0 Date: 3/13/2016 Category: Modders Resource Requirements: Shivering Isles Patch 1.2.0.201, Oblivion Patch 1.2.0.416 Author(s): Ivaldisk Source: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8440 Description =========== A collection of new 121 paintings to add to your castles, homes, dungeons and wherever you like! Location ======== If you activate the included .esp, you may open the console and type "coc 00yeoldegallery". Every included painting can be find there. Details ======= This is a collection of 121 new paintings, the majority of them from the Gothic and Baroque periods, including works from Rembrandt, Velázquez, Rubens, Hals and Caravaggio. I think paintings from that period, and the look of the people portrayed on them, fit very well to Oblivion's environment, and they can add a very nice, elegant or weird feeling to your mods. Some of the included paintings are really odd portraits. Also there are a few paintings from more modern authors that look pretty good on Shivering Isles or any strange place or realm. You can use them in your castles to pretend that an old lineage dwells there, or in your dungeons to add a weird feeling to them and make the players feel uncomfortably watched... You'll have to add them to the game through the CS, but an esp. is included in which the meshes are added to the game and placed in a cell called "00yeoldegallery", so that in game you can open the console and type "coc 00yeoldegallery" to see how they look. This mod was born because I always missed old style portraits in Oblivion, and I though that porting such kind of paintings to the game would give it a more immersive feeling. It's also a way to humbly contribute to a community form which I have taken a lot of stuff and has given me a lot of fun. So: Thanks! Install ======= 1. Extract files to the Oblivion\Data directory 2. If you want to use the esp., activate "00OldePaintings.esp". Uninstall ========= 1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s). 2. Delete the files/folders located within: Oblivion\Data\Meshes\00Paintings Oblivion\Data\Textures\clutter\00Paintings Incompatibility =============== None that I know.
