01. What & Why ?
Recently I purchased the GOTY Deluxe Edition from GOG (already had a retail GOTY disc), which has all DLC.
Knights of the Nine has a pretty tough prerequisite for your character; Infamy of 1 or less.
It really is geared towards the more Paladin Knight types.
With a higher Infamy KotN becomes somehwat of a chore -as far as I'm concerned, since my characters always 
(intended or not) acquire Infamy like oxygen. Mainly because when fighting bad guys, good guy NPC's get in my way 
and I end up hitting them quite a bit.
I intended this mod to be KotN only, but as far as I'm aware, that would require modifying the "Knights.esp".
I was -and am- really reluctant to alter that file in any way. I tried loading both Oblivion.esm and Knights.esp 
and save the result as a new esp file. Sorry, no dice on my end. So decided to release this as a pure main game 
plug-in.
You need to find a chest that holds a Crystal Ball of Redemption (and a note).
Upon adding the object to your inventory it resets your Infamy to zero; when you drop it from inventory, your 
Infamy is restored -with one small caveat: any Infamy you acquire with the object in your possession will be 
added to your stored Infamy when you drop the object.

02. Requirements
- TESIV: Oblivion 1.2.0416
- Archive Utility (WinZip, WinRAR, 7-zip; 7-zip is free)

03. Installation
- Manually download the archive
- Extract to neutral location on your Harddrive
- Copy InfamyRedemption.esp to your X:\...\Oblivion\Data\ folder; example, for me it is D:\GOG\Galaxy\Oblivion\Data\

04. Deinstallation
- [in-game] Drop the Redemption item from your inventory and save your game to a new slot.
- Exit game
- Deactivate the ESP using NMM, or whatever you prefer.
- Start game, load last save and force load when prompted
- No CTD? Save your game in a new slot
- Delete InfamyRedemption.esp from your X:\Oblivion\Data folder.

05. Location
- In a partially submerged chest near the IC Sewer Exit (the one where you appear after the tutorial)
- When you stand in front of the IC Sewer Exit and are facing towards Vilverin, turn left and walk 
along the water's edge; it's behind a rock on your righthandside close to the shore.

06. Caveats

- DO NOT USE while wearing the Grey Cowl of Nocturnal <I foresee major conflicts>
- DO NOT USE in Shivering Isles World (Shivering Isles expansion) <UNTESTED>
