Blunt Reach Correction - v1.0 REQUIREMENTS Oblivion Shivering Isles Mehrunes Razor Knights of the Nine INSTALLATION Use ONLY ONE .esp. Extract the .esp file into your Oblivion/Data/ folder and enable it in the launcher or your mod manager. UNINSTALLATION Disable the .esp and delete it from your Oblivion/Data/ folder. DESCRIPTION Vanilla blunt weapons have a retarded amount of phantom reach, hitting you from over twice their length away. No more! Reach of all blunt weapons were changed: - BluntOneHand 0.7 Reach - BluntTwoHand 0.8 Reach - Club, 0.8 - Mace of the Crusader, 0.8 - Volendrung, 0.7 - Rake, 1.0 - Hoe, 1.0 - Elven Waraxe 1.1 Speed (because it's not a special snowflake and just as short as every other waraxe.) These numbers were arrived at by comparing the ingame models to the various Blade weapons after lining up their grip points. Damage and Speed values were changed to balance Reach loss: - War Axe +1 Damage - Mace +2 Damage - Battle Axe +3 Damage +0.1 Speed - Warhammer +4 Damage +0.1 Speed - Rake +2 Damage +0.1 Speed - Hoe +2 Damage +0.1 Speed CONFLICTS Any mods that directly modify vanilla BluntTwoHand or BluntOneHand Damage, Reach or Speed values. COMPATIBILITY Vanilla Combat Enhanced - VCE uses a script to modify Damage, instead of direct value changes KNOWN ISSUES - Mod added weapons are unaffected. This is because there is no global Reach value for weapon types, it has to be set on a per item basis.
