Skyrim Alternative Start project by Gunter Severloh ================== This is an alternative start project, its basically 9 save games in 9 different locations of the Skyrim map. These are all level 1 saves that have no quests tied to them, no markers on the map and the main quest is disabled but can be played by adding a simple code to the console if one wishes. The 9 saves are the default character of the game with all items, armor, weapons removed and roughspin tunic with footwraps added which is what the character is wearing when the save is loaded. When you load up one of the saves you will need to create your character, to do this press the tilde key ~ which is to the left of the number 1 key at the top left of your keyboard under the escape button, once you have the console up (only done when ingame) then type the following into the console----> showracemenu this will bring up the character customization menu. After you have created your character it is best to save your game with a "New Save" so your new character wont be lost. Information about the contents of the zip: ========================================== ================= GAME SAVES Folder ================= In the GAME SAVES folder are 9 folders, each folder contains a screenshot of the location of the save, as well as the .ess, and .ske put both files of your choice or all into this location for your game: C:\Users\Your Username\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves Put ONLY the .ess, and .ske files, NOT the whole folder of the location with the save files in them or it wont work. ============================================== README TUTORIAL - CREATE YOUR OWN START Folder ============================================== This contains 2 readmes, one is the tutorial on how to create your own saves which is titled: Create your own start Tutorial.txt The other is titled: poorStart.txt The poorstart.txt is a bat file, it has code in it that is part of the tutorial, move or copy this text document to your main Skyrim directory which is here: C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Follow the tutorial to use it, just to note it is optional to use but it wont do nothing on its own, information on its use can be found under step 6 of the tutorial. ======================== Credits for the idea, and code method - StannieDum
