*** Dragon Shouts Rebalanced README *** --- Description --- Here contained is information about "Dragon Shouts Rebalanced," a mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that seeks to make dragon shouts more useful and appropriately powerful. In general, cooldown times have been slightly reduced and shouts made more powerful, making the Thu'um feel more in line with its legendary reputation. These were not thoughtless buffs, however; each change was given careful consideration and caution was taken to prevent shouts from becoming overpowered. Below is a list of the changes I've made to all of the shouts, followed by instructions for installing and uninstalling this mod. This mod requires both Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC to function. This mod should not conflict with anything, except other mods that change the characteristics of shouts. --- Changes --- Changes are listed in the following format: (variable in question): (original data for first word)>(new data for first word), (original data for second word)>(new data for second word), (original data for third word)>(new data for third word) If a stat is not listed, then I did not change it from its original values. animal allegiance cooldown: 50>30, 60>45, 70>60 radius: 75>100, 150>200, 250>300 duration: 30>45, 45>60, 60>90 maxlevel: 20>20, 20>30, 20>40 aura whisper cooldown: 30>20, 40>25, 50>30 radius (exterior): 500>200, 500>350, 500>500 radius (interior): 300>100, 300>200, 300>300 duration: 10>5, 20>10, 30>15 battle fury duration: 60>30, 120>60, 180>90 become ethereal cooldown: 20>20, 30>25, 40>30 duration: 8>10, 13>15, 18>20 * additionally, "eternal spirit" (the become ethereal meditation buff) has been increased from +25% health recovery to +100% bend will cooldown: 10>10, 90>60, 120>90 call odahviing cooldown: 5>5, 5>5, 300>180 call of valor cooldown: 180>90, 180>90, 180>90 duration: 60>60, 60>60, 60>60 * buffed health by 200, stamina by 100, magicka by 50, also made Felldir and Hakon proper 2H warrior class clear skies no changes cyclone cooldown: 30>30, 45>40, 60>50 disarm cooldown: 30>20, 35>25, 40>30 maxlevel: 12>15, 20>25, 30>35 dismay cooldown: 40>30, 45>35, 50>40 duration: 30>30, 30>45, 30>60 maxlevel: 7>10, 15>20, 24>30 dragon aspect no changes dragonrend no changes drain vitality cooldown: 30>30, 60>45, 90>60 * actually absorbs (drains) power now, rather than just damaging opponents elemental fury duration: 15>15, 15>20, 15>25 fire breath cooldown: 30>30, 50>40, 100>50 damage: 50>50, 70>75, 90>100 frost breath cooldown: 30>30, 50>40, 100>50 damage: 50>50, 70>75, 90>100 slow: 50>50, 50>60, 60>70 ice form cooldown: 60>45, 90>60, 120>75 duration: 15>15, 30>30, 60>45 damage: 2/sec>2/sec, 2/sec>3/sec, 2/sec>4/sec kyne's peace cooldown: 40>20, 50>30, 60>40 radius: 75>100, 150>200, 225>300 maxlevel: 20>20, 20>30, 20>40 marked for death damage (health): 1/sec>2/sec, 2/sec>3/sec, 3/sec>4/sec damage (armor): 25>30, 50>60, 75>90 slow time cooldown: 30>30, 45>40, 60>50 duration: 8>10, 12>15, 16>20 soul tear no changes storm call cooldown: 300>180, 480>240, 600>300 radius: 100>100, 100>150, 150>200 duration: 60>90, 120>135, 180>180 summon durnehviir cooldown: 5>5, 5>5, 300>180 throw voice no changes unrelenting force cooldown: 15>15, 20>20, 45>40 damage: 2>5, 5>10, 10>25 whirlwind sprint cooldown: 20>10, 25>15, 35>20 --- Installation --- Simply place dragonShoutsRebalanced.esp into the data folder located within your Skyrim directory. After that, be sure to activate it in the Skyrim Launcher. You can place this mod anywhere in your load order, so long as it comes after the master files (.esm). However, if you have other mods that alter the characteristics of shouts, you may want to load Dragon Shouts Rebalanced after them to ensure that its changes take effect. Or just let a mod manager handle everything for you. --- Uninstallation --- I would recommend making a fresh save in which there are no dragon shout effects active before deleting the file, just to be safe. But yeah, that's how you uninstall this mod; just delete the esp. --- Credits --- Mod created by Lazy Dreamer. Credit is also due to Ozram, after whose mod this one was modelled.
