Place the Data file in the directory as follows: 

(Drive letter C,D,E, etc):\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim


Or if installed with Steam it is as follows:

(Drive letter C,D,E, etc):\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim
