Description: This will make all Undead Races with bodies much more formidable by combining the logic of The Elder Scrolls World with realism. The effect is terrifying for an unsuspecting novice wandering into an acient Nord crypt. Before: the undead like Draugr were laughably easy to defeat and were not a great challenge until later on. This is not the case any more. As a novice light-armored Archer with a light-armored two-handed sword wielding companion at my side: we got through the bandits on the way to Bleak Falls Barrow, but once we started running into the undead we both nearly died many times with me often running away to sneak back then attack. My companion was also set to Essential making him kneel at 1 Health Point instead of dying, but also making him slowly recover from that state only to be brought back to kneel again by the undead after getting some hits in. I also had the mod Supernatural Jump active, giving me supernaturally high jumping abilities which let me jump around firing arrows like an acrobatic Archer. Still even with all this: I used the console command Toggle God Mode to save myself from dying more than once. We were both below level 5 until the last undead encounter. I haven't even finished the dungeon yet and before I do I'm going to go back to Riverwood to get more companions, but I think it will still be tough even with three companions. I'm using Extended Followers Framework that gives me a limit of 100 followers. This mod only affects all Undead Races with bodies (Draugr, Skeletons, Dragon Priests, and Undead Dragons). If you want a mod that affects the Undead without bodies then I suggest using the mod Scary Ghosts (which inspired me to make Scary Undead), this mod makes all Ghosts immune to normal weapons: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36525/? The Undead are not Zombies. Zombies are reanimated corpses controlled by the person who brought them back to life and are only as strong as the magic that the person used to bring them back to life is. The Undead are dead bodies that have come back to life and what ever it is that brought them back to life is unknown, but they do have a will of their own. The dead do not have beating hearts nor do they need the use of organs (Skeletons don't even have these) and they do not get sick thus they are unaffected by poison, disease, and critical hits. They also do not naturally heal and they do not bleed. The dead do not feel pain thus they are immune to paralysis and attacks that cause stagger. The dead do not feel fear, anger, calm, nor any other emotion thus attacks that manipulate emotions have no effect on them (Illusion School of Magic). The dead do not sleep and they do not get tired, thus they will never run out of stamina. The dead do not breathe and thus they can not drown (Dragon Priests also float over water). The dead do not feel the cold, but they are still affected by it thus the cold only has half the effect on them. Undead Bodies' are dried up and are highly flammable, thus all fire has double the effect on them. Requirements: Skyrim Installation: Extract to TheElderScrollsV:Skyrim/Data Recommended Mods ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This mod is essential for a scary experience with undead Skeletons: Skeletons of Daggerfall, replaces the sounds undead Skeletons make with the sounds of the undead Skeletons from The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall game: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38677/? The Sounds of Skyrim - The Dungeons, crazy awesome scary sounds in all dungeons that vary based upon the type of dungeon your in: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8601/? Realistic Lightning Overhaul changes how the game implements lights to not use Post Processing making lights much more realistic in the game but INCREASING Frames Per Second (FPS) or game play speed: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30450/? ColorfulLights no Shadows using this you can turn off the default shadows by editing your .ini files most likely GREATLY INCREASING performance and STILL have even BETTER shadows in the game, this does this by making most LIGHTS in the game Omnidirectional meaning instead of CREATING shadows INSTEAD the surrounding textures of every light are changed to different shades of brightness, for ENB users DON'T TURN SHADOWS OFF COMEPLTELY ENB WILL FREAK OUT SIMPLY "LOWER" THE SHADOW SETTINGS IN YOUR .INI FILES: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10789/? TO TURN-OFF DEFAULT SHADOWS DO THIS: Look in MyDocuments/MyGames/Skyrim/ and look for these two files Skyrim (file extension .ini) and SkyrimPrefs (file extension .ini), open them with Notepad and look for every thing with the name "shadow" in it and set it to "0" or the zero version of what ever it is for example "1.0000" to "0.0000", for ENB users just "lower" the shadow settings.~ I highly recommend these mods for the awesome increased difficulty they bring: Scary Ghosts, for Ghosts who are immune to normal weapons: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36525/?
