ONDOLEMAR LIVES - 1.1 Created by NonaryLotus Install prior to Markarth coming under control of the Stormcloaks (i.e. before Ondolemar is scripted to die). :: REQUIREMENTS :: • Skyrim up to date :: FEATURES :: • The only vaguely nice Thalmor gets to live :: INCOMPATIBLE MODS :: • This is likely incompatible (depending on your in-game choices) with The Cutting Room Floor or any mods that adjust the Civil War to have cut content, specifically if you side with the Stormcloaks and capture Markarth. I've heard of a scene Bethesda cut (that these mods may have restored) where Galmar executes Ondolemar. If this happens, then Ondolemar will probably die, as my mod only edits his off-screen death. • Theoretically, as long as you don't do the Battle for Markarth for the Stormcloaks, those mods should be fine to have alongside mine. :: CHANGE LOG :: • v1.1: Changed the way the mod is implemented slightly. Changes are likely unnoticeable for end users. • v1.0: Initial Release :: OTHER STUFF :: • Cleaned with TES5Edit :: KNOWN ISSUES :: • Ondolemar does not die if you uninstall the mod after he's moved to the Blue Palace. Given the purpose of this mod, I see no reason to fix this. If it bothers you that much, you can kill him yourself either normally or with the console commands "prid 1990d" followed by "kill." • His dialogue does not reflect that he's not in Markarth. This is a vanilla issue and will not be fixed. :: UNKNOWN ISSUES :: • I do not know if he will return to Understone Keep if you win Markarth back for the Imperials. I tried to test it, but it turns out Skyrim doesn't like it when you use setstage to skip portions of the civil war. • For the same reason, I am unsure if he will still go to the Blue Palace if Markarth is taken by the Stormcloaks via a battle in the Civil War questline (assuming you do not have any of the "incompatible" mods listed above, of course).
