Quick Installation guide GZDoom: 1. Drop the WAD file(s) into GZDoom's root folder. 2. Navigate to C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\GZDoom 3. Open gzdoom.ini and add under [doom.Autoload]: Path=NAME_OF_WAD.wad 4. Congrats, your WAD(s) will now be autoloaded for Doom 1 & 2. Quick Installation guide Unity port: 1. Navigate to C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\id Software\ DOOM Classic or DOOM 2\WADs 2. Drop Unity_Angled_Doom_Weapons.wad into the WADs folder. 3. Start the game and activate the WAD via the ADD-Ons menu. //Keep in mind that you can only play with one ADD-On at a time. For more compatibility, you must edit the IWADS with Slade 3 (discouraged). Files Overview: Vanilla_Angled_Doom_Weapons.wad: For Source ports such as GZDoom. Contains code for the new weapons & changes the plasma ball screen origins. Sprites are angled & faithful to vanilla Doom. Rockets & BFG balls are still centered, due to gameplay reasons. Unity_Angled_Doom_Weapons.wad: For Unity & other vanilla ports. If above package does not work properly, use this one instead. Contains no code changes, only graphics. Additional_AG_Weapons_Addon.wad: Adds some new toys to play with. Only load after Vanilla_Angled_Doom_Weapons.wad. Enemies will drop these weapons on occasion. This package is entirely optional. Only tested on GZDoom 4.10.0.
