1.Go to "Documents\My Games\Fallout4" and open the file "Fallout4.ini" and edit the following line: 2. Find: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\ 3. Change to: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\ 4.Extract this file in the Fallout 4 main folder, replacing any existing file. E.g.: For steam: (Steam/SteamApps/common/Fallout 4) Open the game and see if it works, if not, try the following: You will need to add the following line to the Fallout4Prefs.ini file below the sections [Launcher] bEnableFileSelection=1 In the Fallou4.ini file, make sure this is set to 1 [Display] iPresentInterval=1 If that still doesn't do the trick, do the same thing you did in the steps 1 to 4, but in the Fallout4Custom.ini file. If everything fails, you must have done something wrong like extracting to the wrong folder. Double check all the Folder Paths.
