Description: I've heard rumors of an ancient Ghoul whale that swims in the bay. This is a tale of the man mad enough to try and catch the beast. The Fisherman's Gambit is a Quest mod that takes the players to several new locations around the commonwealth. The quest is spans six new locations in the commonwealth and has several unique items. Please read this whole page before posting questions. Features: - Six new locations in the commonwealth - One new interior - A Unique hat - A Unique knife - Purifying Altar Install: - Manual -> Click Download Manually -> Drop the esp (TheFishermansGambit.esp) into your Fallout4/data folder - Nexus Mod Manager -> Click download with manager and activate Uninstall: - Manual -> Delete the esp (TheFishermansGambit.esp) from your Fallout4/data folder - Nexus Mod Manager -> Deactivate mod Compatibility: - This mod should be compatible with most things because it only used Vanilla assets and modify areas outside the main map. If there are conflicts let me know and I'll look into fixing them. Known Bugs: - The Nav-meshes were Auto-generated and may not be the best, if there are problems for companions let me know where and I'll look into fixing it by hand. - Dropped objects clip into the top of the Altar FAQ: - Q: I can't get to any of your locations the game tells me that I can't go that way? A: All my location are outside the normal game map and requires you to turn off the borders. Place bBorderRegionsEnabled=0 in your Fallout.ini file under the [General] section to turn off borders. - Q: What is the name of the Quest in my Pipboy? A: This is an Unmarked Quest so it does not show up in the Pipboy - Q: Where do I need to go to start the Quest? A: Because the Quest is about exploration and Discovery all I will say is look for bodies of water near Vault 111 - Q: I can't find any of the locations in the mod. WalkThrough: Location 1: Angler's Pond Angler's Pond is located directly West of Vault 111 and on the way there you should run into three named raiders Jiggles Lys and The Don. Read the note Jiggles has on him. At the pond there is a Shack with Cheo's Journal. Cheo's Journal is the key to finding all the locations. At the bottom of the pond in the back of the boat is Cheo's unlucky hat which is a unique item. Location 2: Hillside Park The Hillside Park is located west of the ruined house on the western shore of the unnamed dammed lake in the Northwest of the commonwealth. There is a note with some backstory in the fridge in the ruined house. Up in the Hillside Park in the trash can there is a mininuke and a note. Location 3: Broken Highway: South of the Lonely Chapel is a Highway follow that to the west and keep on the look out for a traffic jam in the middle of nowhere. Inside the bus is some explosives to have fun with and inside the APC is mutated dolphin corpse. if you shoot the corpse it will explode and inside is a bunch of cans and a molerat. Location 4: Forgotten Lake: This Location you can actually see on your map it is the Lake just north of the Glowing Sea. Here is Cheo's first boat with a note on where to look for the gold. If you follow the dried up stream bed up hill you will find the treasure chest that held Cheo's Gold. Here is also a note with Directions to Giant's Hollow. Location 5: Giant's Hollow Giant's Hollow is located north of the Hillside park and west of Wicked Shipping. In this grotto you can find the ritual blade and accompanying note near the broken statue's head. Watch out for the ghoul. On the Statue's arm near the candles is the note that has the directions to their Temple. Location 6: Ruined Town The ruined Town is where the entrance to the Cultist's Temple is. The easiest way to get to the town is to go to the Forgotten Church and head uphill following the telephone poles to the town. In the floor of the northernmost ruin is the trapdoor to the Temple below. Location 7: Cultist Temple In this small cave is the Altar of Gold and a Chest containing Cheo's Gold. There are three ghoulish Cultists here that you may have to kill. The Alter can be used to turn Blamco Mac & Cheese into the prewar version. To use the Altar just activate it with dirty Mac&Cheese in your inventory.
