Description: The Red Wave is a player owned boat that you can use to travel to a dozen different locations along the coast and waterways of the Commonwealth. I made this as an alternative to the traditional fast travel system with the emphasis on lore friendliness. Places like The Castle, Spectacle Island, and Nordhagen beach are now reachable by boat making them more reasonable settlements for those who do not use normal fast travel or are playing survival mode. The boat features player storage, a bed, drinking water and a personal terminal to play holotapes. The Red Wave is free to use and starts at the docks near The Shamrock Taphouse. The boat works as a great mobile home and means of travel for people who want a realist way to fast travel. Features: Version 1.0 - The Red Wave, an old fishing boat converted into a primitive houseboat - Fast travel using The Red Wave is available in Survival mode - Player storage on the boat that travels with you - A sink for clean water stored in a cistern on the back of the ship - Water can be bottled in survival mode - Player owned bed - Map Marker so you always know where you left the boat - Radio tuned to Diamond City Radio - Personal Terminal to play holotape games - Observation deck Locations: The Red Wave has a dozen different moorings around the Commonwealth I tried to spread them out to make them all useful and safe for players. Some of the landings are a little ways away from their given locations this is to ensure player safety on arrival. The boat can travel the the following places: - Taffington Boathouse - Bunker Hill - Hangman's Alley - Boston Airport - The Castle - The Shamrock Taphouse - Northern Salem - Longneck Lukowski's Cannery - Nordhagen Beach - Spectacle Island - Warwick Homestead - Neponset Park see images for exact locations. They are not in the CK only in game. I don't know how to fix and I am open to suggestions. FAQ: - Q: Can I drive the boat around where ever I want? A: No that boat only works as a means of fast travel between the listed locations. - Q: Can I still use it to travel in Survival mode? A: Yes, that is one of the reason's I made this mod. - Q: Does the boat need fuel? A: As of now no, but a more realism focused version may be added in the future. - Q: Why are there no crafting stations on Red Wave? A: Because I wanted to keep it focused on a travel system this first version and most of the stops you can take are settlements or have crafting stations nearby.
