Making a child NPC that will utilise my alternate meshes and face textures: First, here are what the different meshes look like: --------------------------------- http://i.imgur.com/CJRxhEe.jpg --------------------------------- MALE- Base is untouched from vanilla, V1 looks similar to V3 frontfacing, but has a pointier nose and chin, V2 has slightly adjust nostrils and cheekbones, V3 has a stockier appearance. FEMALE- Base is untouched from vanilla and is identical to Male's Base. V1 has smaller nose and fuller lips, V2 has a more compacted shape, V3 has a wider nose Textures look like: -------------------------------- http://i.imgur.com/y8qvbhX.jpg -------------------------------- Male- Base is a plain retexture, V1 has small scattered moles, V2 has highlighted cheekbones and a cheek mole, V3 has light freckles that look good with more freckles added (shown in pic) Female- Base is a plain retexture, V1 has prominent highlights and blush, V2 has blush and small scattered moles, V3 has light freckles With my mod, these meshes are added as Headparts. If you create a new child NPC with my mod loaded in the CK, there will be a textbox listing with base head parts the child is using. Where it says Face, it will say that the one activated is FemaleHeadHumanChild, click on it and then use the box below it to choose any of my versions. Changing hair color will update the render window. The hairstyles will also show up as options in CK, though weirdly they don't show up in showlooksmenu if you try to change it that way. You can also add other face extras by right clicking "Add," the transparencies value can also be altered. Now to pick one of my other textures, go into FO4Edit and scroll to the bottom of the entries where it says "Head Texture." Copy the entry of the SkinHead with the texture you want, under my esp's "Texture Set" into the Head Texture category. You will need to copy "TXST:xx --------------------------------- How to get an alternate face mesh and texture on your playable Child. If you have Playable Children and want a different face shape or face texture, the easiest way I think is copy the mesh and texture you want (rename ChildMaleHead_d.dds/ChildFemaleHead_d.dds or ChildMaleHead.nif/ChildFemaleHead.nif) and put them into Meshes/Actors/Character/CharacterAssets Textures/Actors/Character/HumanChildren ----------------------------------- https://www.dropbox.com/s/v61s8s0aluta4kl/HumanChildren.rar?dl=0 ----------------------------------------- This will has alter the kids that use the base mesh and texture, however. You could also edit the Head Parts list in FO4Edit to use my head parts but you might need to load my esp first and copy in records.
