I was getting annoyed running around in power armor and hearing some sort of squeak every third or fourth step. It might be some sort of hydraulic valve releasing air or something, but it's freaking annoying. So I got rid of it.

Instructions:

1. Go to \...\Documents\My Games\Fallout4 and find Fallout4.ini
2. Under [Archive] add the line
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\
and replace it with:
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\

3. Download and extract the mod files and copy the Data folder into:
(on 64-bit machines)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4
(on 32-bit machines)
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4
