Disable Dogmeat Whining by netramz This mod is intended to disable all sad sounds made by Dogmeat in Fallout 4 Credits go to Clickbeast for creating the original mod titled "Remove Dogmeat's Whining Audio" as well as to LiquidBronze for creating the blank audio file which was used in said mod which I then copied into mine. This mod simply expands on Clickbeast's in order to remove even more whining sounds from Dogmeat. DESCRIPTION: I don't really care for companions, but I love having a dog. I just don't love hearing that dog whine all the time no matter what we are doing. This mod will remove most of Dogmeat's whines and whimpers with 2 different versions: Default and Lite Default: Any sound that sounds remotely like a sad dog has been removed from Dogmeat's audio. The only sound that is left is a slight whimper when he is "down, but not out" (when he requires a stimpack in combat). Aside from this, all other whines have been disabled. Lite version: Disables most whining sounds, but leaves some sounds such as dialogue whimpers and "down, not out" sounds that he makes when he needs a stimpack. This will allow you to hear when he is in serious trouble or when he expresses his dissatisfaction toward your conversation with him, but otherwise you will not hear any sounds that are DEFINITELY a dog whining. This means you may hear some sounds that sound slightly like a whimper, but are appropriate for situations in which the dog is expressing something more than ONLY sadness. INSTALLATION: Simply place the Data folder inside your Fallout 4 root directory. ENABLING MOD: Ensure that Fallout4.ini located in My Documents (C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\my games\Fallout4) includes "sound\" after "sResourceDataDirsFinal=" displaying the following: "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, SOUND\" Or to ensure all mods you install are enabled, replace "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\" with: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\ Again, credits go to Clickbeast for creating the original mod and LiquidBronze for the blank audio file.
