This mod is deprecated and may conflict with Automatron http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3482340-pleasant-ui/?p=35881780 v1.041 + Widescreen Test ----------------- Description and Intent ----------------- The goal is to make a minimalistic UI and to resize or completely remove elements which I find unnecessary. The only cross-hairs will be a simple Dot, and only when hovering over an item/object or NPC. I have hidden almost every notification including Quest and Objective Updates, Perk Boy and Condition Boy animations as well as Tutorial text / animations. Your pipboy may come in handy. ----------------- Compatibility ----------------- This mod installs one file: HUDMenu.swf in Data\Interface\ For compatibility with other UI mods such as no dotdotdot by just or UXO - User Experience Overhaul for Fallout 4 by necromunger Allow this mod to overwrite hudmenu.swf Note on "Widescreen Test" version: this was provided at the request of a single user, but I have not received any feedback - if you use a widescreen setup and try this file, please let me know how it works so that I can tweak it if necessary. ----------------- Installation Notes ----------------- For proper display of this HUD, you will probably need to change the "Safezone" values in your .ini For reference, these are the values I use for 1920x1080: My Games/Fallout 4/Fallout4.ini or My Games/Fallout 4/Fallout4Custom.ini [Interface] fSafeZoneX=5.0 fSafeZoneY=2.0 fSafeZoneXWide=5.0 fSafeZoneYWide=2.0 Larger numbers will move the HUD further from the edges of the screen. Defaults: fSafeZoneYWide16x10=36.0000 fSafeZoneXWide16x10=64.0000 fSafeZoneYWide=36.0000 fSafeZoneXWide=64.0000 fSafeZoneY=15.0000 fSafeZoneX=15.0000 ----------------- Recommended Mods ----------------- No Magic Compass -- Fallout 4 Edition by PlausibleSarge to remove enemy/location markers, etc. His is a much more elegant and mod-compatible solution than I have used. Pleasant UI by ImBlindMG. A fantastic project, can't wait to see it develop more. The intent is similar to this one, with a minimalistic approach to the HUD and his design choices are elegant. I now use this HUD for my own game with some edits to make it suit my taste. UXO - User Experience Overhaul for Fallout 4 by necromunger More Responsive Interface UI Smaller Button Prompts Quiet Weeding Farming by roamwild When I first got Fallout 4, no particular HUD mod suited my tastes; so I started messing around and this is what I've come up with so far. Many thanks to Goomashroom for his Article on how to edit the HUDmenu.swf! Also thanks to nyrb for his FOMOD XML guide! Chopped up and duct-taped back together with JPEXs Free Flash Decompiler.
