01) Description This is a very simple mod that adds a new type of grenade that does no damage, but has a modified sound and summons a cat when it explodes. 02) Installation: 1) Go to your "[DriveLetter]:\Users\[Username]\My Games\Fallout 4" folder: a) Open Fallout4.ini in your favorite text editor and locate the entry under [Archive] called "sResourceDataDirsFinal" and change it to: "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\" (Without quotes, add this line under [Archive] if it's missing) b) Open Fallout4Prefs.ini in your favorite text editor and locate the [LauncherSection], then add the line: "bEnableFileSelection=1" (Without quotes, this line will not be present if you have not added it yourself) 2) Go to your "[DriveLetter]:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Fallout4" folder: a) Open up plugins.txt in your favorite text editor and at the end, add a new line: "KittyRelayGrenades.esp" (Without quotes... again) b) Save and close plugins.txt, then right click the file and choose "Properties" and check the box that reads "Read-only" and hit OK. (Fallout 4 likes to constantly change this file, and when it does it leaves only the initial Fallout4.esm entry, which can be catastrophic) 3) Take the data folder from this rar file and put it in your main Fallout4 installation folder where the original data folder is. 4) Enjoy your explosive kitten delivery system! 05) Known Issues: Unfortunately, even when grenades deal no damage, anything touched by said explosion counts as having been attacked. I could reduce the radius, but the grenade explosion effect is tied to the radius of the actual explosion, so removing said radius removes the effect. I'll look into fixes later, but this is a bit tricky to fix. 04) Disclaimer: Modding is risky business. I have no intention of harming your saves/installation, but it is always a risk when using mods. ESPECIALLY mods this early after release. You use this mod knowning full well the problems that could arise and I take no responsibility for said problems.
