ReadMe v1_2 MixTapes - Custom Music Holotapes This mod allows you to create holotapes of your own music so you can listen to what songs you want, when you want, with out leaving the game. For those of you that remember, these work just like music cassette tapes: Load them up with songs you love and then just let them play, no skipping tracks like those fancy CD players. NOTE: Until the GECK comes out and I can modify the quest files this relies on I am overwritting the Storytime Simon "The New Squirrel" holotapes. It comes preloaded with 1 track per tape. (I picked these at random from the in game music. I would love to share my favorite songs with you but I'm not going to get into copywrite territory). These are craftable at the Chemistry Station under "HOLOTAPES" Mix Tape #1: (Console Code: 001AC524) Track 1: Connie Allen - Rocket 69 Mix Tape #2: (Console Code: 001AC522) Track 1: Big Maybelle - Whole Lotta' Shakin' Goin' On Mix Tape #3: (Console Code: 001AC523) Track 1: Ray Smith - Right Behind You Baby How it works: 1. Put the songs you want to hear in the "Data\Sound\Voice\Fallout4.esm\NPCMStorytimeSimon" folder included with the mod. (all but the first track on each tape are blank by default. I've also included "blank.wav" as a backup if you need to make blank tracks later.) 2. Use a converter program to change the music files for your music into .fuz files. 3. Rename the files (see the Filename section below if you need a reference and there is a TrackList.csv in the folder you can use to keep track with too). Mix Tape #1 can hold 9 tracks total. Mix Tape #2 can hold 8 tracks total. Mix Tape #3 can hold 10 tracks total. To Do: GUI interface to make the tape creation way easier (I've already started this so hopefully it will be done in a day or two). When the GECK comes out redo the quests so that this is not an overwrite of game content. Converter Programs: To use this you will probably need a program that can handle .fuz files I use: Unfuzer CPP Edition by greentea101 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19242/ But these should work: Skyrim Audio Converter by JohnB http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8303/? MultiXwm by Raxdiam http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3663/?
