WW2 GERMAN SMOCK UNIFORM & HELMET ENHANCED


Adds a standalone enhanced version of POVCombat's WW2 German smock uniform & helmet. Makes the uniform pipboy friendly & allows customization on the armor workbench. Adds new world preview models and enables the helmet to work with gasmasks. Cleaned up the nifs with nifskope and enabled two sided textures to remove the transparency in the lower coat.

Unfortunately the original mod clipped heavily with the pipboy. I have used the same function as a the vanilla military fatigues. AKA "the rolled up sleeve". When worn by the Player it will have the rolled up sleeve in first and third person. When worn by NPC's or companions it will appear normal.

This mod also streamlines the customizations for the helmet & armor. The uniform can be modded to be a basic uniform so that it will be more compatible with backpacks and holstered weapons. If you like the original look of the outfit with all the additional gear you can switch back to that as well. The helmet can be modded to change the scarf & strap options. The color of the armors can also be changed.

The armor can be crafted under the Chem Bench / Utility / Wehrmacht Helmet Enhanced & Wehrmacht Outfit Enhanced. This is standalone so it can be used alongside POVCombat's original mod. There are minor conditions to craft the equipment like having the Armorer 02 Perk. Ballistic weave can be added to both outfit and helmet as long as the railroad quest has been completed. Outfit has lining options like lighter build and lead lined.


INSTALLATION


Install the original WWII German Smock Uniform (this is a hard requirement).
Install my enhanced mod. The file is an ESL flagged ESP so it won't count towards your load order. If asked to overwrite files it is safe to do so as my mod will overwrite material files to enable two sided textures.

If uninstalling I recommend to scrap the uniform/helmet first and make sure your character isn't wearing the uniform.


KNOWN ISSUES


This is for male only. Females can wear it but it will use the male armor meshes. The caps aren't included as they didn't have a lot of mod options to begin with.
