==================== Beastlord of Oasis v1.0 - 11/22/21 ==================== Created by DarknessSquall, hodala, and LordInquisitor "Fear is the mind-killer." - Beastlord, Fallout Tactics ==================== Description ==================== The Beastlords - a faction from Fallout Tactics that were forgotten and ignored...or were they? This mod adds a grave marker to a bush on your left as you approach the gate to Oasis. Within the soil there you'll find a unique armor, weapon, and a mysterious note left by its former owner. ==================== Technical Description ==================== - Adds Beastlord's Armor (armor, equivilant stats to AntAgonizer's Armor but without the attribute altering effect) - Adds Beast's Fang (dagger, similar stats to Ant's Sting weapon but can't be repaired using items, no poison effect, and base damage increased from 4 to 8) - Adds Beastlord's Eulogy note - Adds a grave marker near a bush outside the gates to Oasis in the Wasteland world cell. The grave contains the above three items. ==================== Why I made this ==================== Fallout Tactics was cool, and I found some modder's resources that had permission for others to use/modify while browsing nexusmods.com. The Beast Lord's Armor by hodala came with the texture models but was never playable as a mod - hodala said another modder had to make a working item and .esp out of it. LordInquisitor's Ant Sting mod seemed like it would fit as a Beastlord's weapon. It was always on my list of things to do, and I regret that it took this long, but it's finally here! I thought it would be cool to add a little backstory to make it lore friendly. I also gave it the same stats as the AntAgonizer's suit and dagger, minus the enchantments, because I figured it would be balanced. ==================== Installation ==================== Extract all files/folders to your Fallout 3\Data folder. Press Yes to merge the textures/meshes folders together. Activate the .esp through your game launcher or mod manager. ==================== Requirements ==================== Fallout 3 ==================== Bugs/Incompatibilities ==================== None that I know of. ==================== Permissions & Credits ==================== This mod's graphical assets come from the following modder's resources, which are used with permission: "Beast Lord Armor" by hodala "Ant Sting Replacer and Resource" by Lord Inquisitor Inspiration (but no assets) taken from "Oasis Storage" by DressedInBlack hodala says that they don't need to be credited for the Beast Lord Armor, but what kind of modder takes credit for someone else's work?! In keeping with the spirit of what this mod was built on, you have permission to freely to modify or re-upload this mod as long as I and the other authors are given appropriate credit. ==================== Uninstallation ==================== Delete the Beastlord.esp file, the "beastlord" folder located in Fallout 3\Data\meshes, and the "beastlord" folder located in Fallout 3\Data\Textures\Armor.
