Name: Parkerized Pip-Boy Version: 1.3 Date: 11/11/2010 Category: Models and Textures Author(s): DonKnotts Source: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37114 Description =========== A port from Fallout3 of the Parkerized Pip-Boy by DonKnotts. Ported over here for him (WITH PERMISSION) until he gets Fallout: New Vegas For this texture I used the UV maps as a guide to make a fresh texture. The idea behind it was; Why after 200 plus years is everything still filthy? Trash everywhere, skeletons in the houses people are living in, and all of the people are filthy. You can drink irradiated water, but you can't wash your damn face with it? Details ======= The textures are available in 4096 and 2048, and include a re-worked 2048x2048 normal map with a proper alpha channel. Both look good even up really close. The 4096 is just there for those that want the best possible textures. Of course you only need to choose one texture set. Install ======= 1. Extract the files somewhere and cut and paste the "Textures" folder into your games "Data" folder. Keep in mind this was made for the English version of Fallout. After extracting you will have Textures/Pipboy3000/PC/English/ If you are playing another language you need to change the folder named "English" to match the language you are playing. Uninstall ========= 1. Delete the folder Textures/Pipboy3000/PC/English/ History ======= 1.0 10/30/2009 - Initial release for Fallout 3 1.0 11/11/2010 - Release for Fallout: New Vegas Contact ======= Author: DonKnotts http://www.fallout3nexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=1556001 Uploader: Tallulahkat http://www.newvegasnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=1091272 Credits ======= Thanks to newvegasnexus.com for the a one-stop-shop resource for authors and players.
