make sure to select "start with hand mirror" during character creation, since this is what allows you to use the fashion sense menu.
you can pick the mirror up from the mailbox and use it like any other tool - if you forget, you can always type the command fs_add_mirror in 
the console, or buy it from pierre!

from the mod page's preview images! i also STRONGLY recommend downloading the optional skin tones file to have heathcliff and outis'
skin tones look more accurate to what they actually look like in limbus (since the vanilla stardew skin tones were just slightly off)
