Ganzel Puckney's Two-Bit Literature Collection Current Version: 1.4 This version is intended for Skyrim Special Edition; a version for the Legendary Edition can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/91023?tab=description Titles included in this version: - Memoir of Rothchild Armoire, Vol. 1 (Previously this was listed mistakenly as 'A Tale of Cheese, Pillows and Butterflies', as I had forgotten that I had changed the title for the purpose of the mod). - Logistics of Human-Giant Copulation - The Thumpy Stick - The Lusty Argonian Maid - A Comprehensive Critique - The Tragedy of Mehrunes Dagon - Surveillance Notes - Tyromancy: A Lost Art - On Carrying Burdens - Life of a Hero's Squire - Greetings from the 7th Era - Illuminating the Dark Arts (New addition!) - Tim Rigby's Idyllic Apricots (New addition!) Description Revitalise and promptly destroy your love of Skyrim's vibrant array of literature with this still-developing collection of original books! Scattered in secret places throughout the harsh northern land, some shall be works of pure fiction; others shall purport to be fact. Only a shrewd eye will find these rare tomes, and only a shrewd mind will separate the truth from the rubbish - if, indeed, there is anything to separate at all. This mod, being the first I have created, is highly simple; I daren't alter any levelled lists with my inexpert hands to include my books. Instead, individual copies have been placed in specific locations, the natures of which are only divulged in notes and letters found elsewhere in Skyrim. As of this version, some, but not all, of these communications are found in the same Hold as their corresponding books. I don't wish to reveal more, however. Version 1.4 contains a modest collection of eleven titles, all reasonable in length for Skyrim books (the largest title being 3934 words and the shortest being 325). More literature will appear in later versions, entailing whatever subject matter strikes my fancy. STOP! YOU VIOLATED THE LORE. In terms of lore-friendliness, the books have been written in a manner consistent with other literature in Skyrim and primarily contain references to culture, technology and so forth appropriate to the Elder Scrolls universe. If this sort of thing concerns you, you should have no grievances in this regard; however, depending on a reader's personal level of lore pedantry, they may believe that the content of some books (those represented as factual) is taking small liberties with the lore. If you think this to be the case, just remember that a book doesn't necessarily portray facts just because it appears to do so. Feel free to dismiss such volumes are the ravings of a lunatic or the work of literary meddler if you feel they violate the lore. Installation Simply place the .esp file into your Skyrim Data folder or install via your favoured mod managing utility. - Please alert me to the bugs/issues which will inevitably arise despite the mod's simplicity as soon as possible. - If this mod or any part of it is found outside of the Nexus, it is stolen and not present with the permission of the author.
