=Texture Pack Comparison Project v0.077=

TPCP is an ambitious project which seeks to compare texture by texture every single competent & lore-friendly texture mod for every single texture in Skyrim by taking tens of thousands of pictures. It makes it 
possible to compare texture mods in a controlled and granular way. Mods often skip textures they were supposed to cover or fail miserably in a few areas. These "holes" may be patched up with other mods. With
these archives you get comparisons at a level beyond anything out there, but it also demands a lot of effort. Alternatively you may download my texture guide (optional download) to see which mods I am using 
for which texture and why (it includes my personal commentary).

Target resolution is 2k and up with exceptions. Lighting is vanilla and usually at 11PM with weather ID 81a. For each texture there will usually be a picture with the texture changed to the normal map (to 
highlight where in the  picture the texture is used), a close-up picture (to evaluate fidelity), and a normal picture (to show art style). City overhaul mods are generally ignored since the goal is to compare 
textures. Mesh mods are generally tested.

Updates are slow because it's boring and a lot of work. Well, I *am* doing this for free. ;) ETA to completion is 2024 but that's probably totally inaccurate. Project status is updated in mod description 
on the Nexus. Don't ask if the project is dead. If it is I'll reflect that on the Nexus page. There will be mods tested which are taken off the Nexus. If you can't find the mod on Google that's probably why.

Returning user here for an update? Check the changelog to see which parts have been updated otherwise you'll be lost in a sea of textures.

-Only SSE is supported.
-If you see textures for old versions of a mod, that means all textures were originally tested at the earliest version mentioned. If picture A is for texture A and A got updated, that will be noted.
However, if picture B for texture B also happens to have texture A in the frame, but texture B was not updated, then texture A in picture B will still be the old version.
-Pictures taken at 2560x1440 and compressed 50% to jpg.
-Unofficial patches used EXCEPT for many Architecture/Armor/Clothing stuff. Overall the difference is negligible.
-Extra readme comes with each main folder of pictures to explain which picture is for which mod and clarifying other things.
-Assume pictures are using highest res version of a mod unless specified.

Pictures taken close to a fire or candle results in inconsistent lighting due to flickering. bToggleSparkles and bDeactivateAOOnSnow set to 0. Sparkles turned off because it adds pure white specks 
of weirdness to snow, and latter set to 0 to enable AO on snow. TAA is used with Reshade Lumasharpen as a compromise between TAA and no AA. This means objects in motion will look different compared 
to objects not in motion (most noticeable with shots of trees and foliage as they sway.)

Only SMIM meshes which require a patch are tested with rare exceptions. Other mesh replacers are fully tested, but for SMIM 95% of the time, if the mesh works, it's probably the best and only option 
out there. Use SMIM meshes unless you have a reason not to. (Eg: particular SMIM mesh requires SMIM compatible texture, SMIM texture is bad, and no good alternative exists.)

None Lore-Friendly Mods:
I'll test non lore-friendly mods I feel like testing. Skimpy mods often get skipped. (Exception for character skin texture mods. For example, I consider CBBE to be lore-friendly because nudity 
is realistic. But warriors don't run around in bikini armor.)
