----------------------------------------------------- Grandia II Anniversary Edition leandroeidi's Ryudo SSJ Mod Version 1.0 (09/sep/2015) ----------------------------------------------------- How to install: 1 - Make a backup of your "[Grandia 2 root folder]\data\afs" folder. This mod will overwrite many files in there and you should keep a backup to make it possible to undo everything. 2 - Copy everything inside this zip to your Grandia 2 folder. E.g.: "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Grandia II Anniversary Edition". 3 - Make sure that the files "Ryudo SSJ Mod - SSJ.bat" and "Ryudo SSJ Mod - Original.bat" are located in the root folder of Grandia II. E.g.: "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Grandia II Anniversary Edition" 4 - Run the file "Ryudo SSJ Mod - SSJ.bat" to apply the mod to turn Ryudo into a Super Saiyan. If you want to turn Ryudo back to his original texture, run the file "Ryudo SSJ Mod - Original.bat". Why do I have to run a .bat file to apply the mod? For some strange reason, GameArts (the original developers of Grandia II) made many copies of the same files scattered around the many folders of the game. The game chooses which ones of them to load depending on the circunstances. So to keep the same textures loaded throughout the game, we have to overwrite all of them. There are 15 folders with copies of Ryudo's textures. Instead of making a mod with 15 copies of the same texture, I thought it would be better to write a script to copy them to all the necessary places. If you don't feel safe by executing a .bat file, you can edit it on notepad and manually copy and rename each file in the specified folders.
