English Version: THE ENTIRE GAME WAS PROPERLY TESTED AND EVALUATED BEFORE BEING PUBLISHED, SO ALL PARTS ARE POSSIBLE TO PASS WITHOUT GLITCHES. Please, make sure that you running the game at normal difficulty. Any other difficulty won't avaliable. I reccomend that you put up your game on Max Settings and between 2 or 2.2 gamma. With Vsync activatted. !!If you want to go back to the normal game. Make sure you've made a backup of all the files before changing anything!! For game changes: CTRL+C DefaultGame and DefaultEnemy > Program Files (86x) > Steam > Steamapps > Common > Outlast > OLGame > Config > Drop with CTRL+V there. For graphics changes: CTRL+C OLSystemSettings and OLEngine > Documents > My Games > Outlast > OLGame > Config > Drop down files there. Game changes: The FOV was decreased to 90, the same as the camera FOV was too; Batteries last energy a matter of seconds longer than before; Miles walk and run a bit faster; Miles makes less noise; Miles is slower in water; Now we can do BHOPS in water; The fire in the Male Ward cafeteria does more damage and has a longer reach; Miles is easilly spotted by enemies; Now we can see better when you're out of batteries; Now we can do BHOPS easier enough than before. Enemies changes: Chris is faster; Chris is easier to dodge; Chris can spot and hear you better than other enemies; Chris has more chance to find a hidden player; The generic patiens has a larger range and is harder to dodge; The enemies in Male Ward chase is faster and harder to dodge. It makes the Male Ward chase THE HARDER part of the whole game; Trager is the fastest enemy in the whole game; Trager has a larger range than other enemies; Trager spot and hear like Chris Walker; Now, Trager is harder to dodge, 90% of his attacks will be grabs; The Wallrider detects and passes doors faster than before; Wallrider now is the faster enemy in game, with 800-900 of velocity (Miles has 410); The Wallrider has a shorter range than before; The Wallrider sometimes won't lose you for a while if you don't get COMPLITELY out of his vision. Graphics Changes: The graphical changes have been altered to the best quality that Unreal Engine 3 can handle. That is, some things haven't been changed because they're already at maximum settings, and the game Engine hasn't been able to change them to better quality. Max quality textures; Max quality shadows; Better shadows definition; The 3D models were set to the best possible modeling quality; Shadows Filter Quality Maximized; Skeletals meshes maximized; Now MSAA was activated and maximized; FXAA was activated and maximized; Anisotrophy Filter was set on 16X; Shadow filter radius maximized; Reflexions were MAXIMIZED (It's actually awesome); We have better particles with great distortions; Maximized ambient occlusion; The fog now has a sharper, stronger impression, which removes the shadowy flaws from some parts of the game; The light effects is better than last version.; The fire in Male Ward cafeteria is better and has better distortion effects; The water looks clearer and more vibrant; Ambient occlusion with night vision is clearly better, along with shadows and distortion effects; Performance changes: The game's allocated memory has been increased to 1024MB; Unlimited FPS; The game has been optimized to run smoothly even with a lot severe effects; Mouse delay has been completely abolished; The memory usage margin is the same as the original so as not to overload the game. Some graphics errors: You might will see some shadows bugs. Unfortunately, this is part of the game itself, and could only be changed if we had the game project available, which is not the case here. Some shadows and textures in the game have not been altered by the engine, because they are sub-details that are unalterable. Some Tips: I repeat to you, please, play the game with VERY HIGH settings, mainly the Effects. Turn down your gamma to 2.2. If you're playing with 4:3 screen resolution, there'll be no graphical changes in your game, as the graphical changes are noticeable at a minimum of 1280x720. The higher the resolution you run the game at, greater the graphical changes will be, especially if you run the game at 2K or 4K. In the Male Ward second chase, you must to do three BHOP initializing during the savegame is loading dodge the enemies and climb up, doing a fast animation.
