The folder provided in the ZIP are both game variants and map variants ripped straight from my own 360 console. These files are now public domain and are to be freely distributed.

Head to this directory (Unlike Reach, the game files will not read from the game's directory)
1. C:\Users\<YOURUSERNAME>\AppData\LocalLow\MCC\LocalFiles\<RandomNumbers>\Halo3 
2. Drag and drop the folders in here and restart your game for changes to take effect

The method of bringing your maps to PC is very similar to the Halo reach method except the file path location is way different.

1. You will need to install Horizon (https://www.wemod.com/horizon)
2. Assuming you already have moved save data onto your USB device from your 360 console, insert your USB and it should appear within the app
3. Click on the mode you want and hit the "Open in Package Manager" gear icon
4. Click on contents
5. Click on the file and press extract
6. If place this in the folder directory above
6.1 If the file is a map file, add .mvar to the end of it
6.2 If the file is a game variant, add .bin to the end of it
