# Ghost Recon Breakpoint replace start-up logos

This mod replaces the four videos that are used during the game start-up. Instead, the game used 0.3 second black screen videos. The game start (a little bit) faster.


## How to install
  1. Extract the zip archive
  1. Copy the folder *remove_startup_logo* in your root GRB installation directory. Typically, it's something like
    `C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Ghost Recon Breakpoint\`
  1. Go into this folder and run *install.bat* script
  

## How to uninstall

### Method 1: Ubisoft Connect file checking
A first possibility is to check the file integrity in Ubisoft Connect. However, it takes a while and you will lost your other modified games files by other mods.

  1. Launch Ubisoft Connect
  1. Select the game
  1. On the left, go in *Properties*
  1. On the *local files* section, click on *Verify files*
  

### Method 2: uninstall script
Another, and maybe better, solution is simply to run the uninstallation script

  1. Like the installation process, put *remove_startup_logo* folder in your root GRB installation directory
  1. Launch *uninstall.bat*
  

## How I process
  1. Create a video with your desired video edition software
  1. Export your project with a supported format (such as .mp4)
  1. Download and install [the RAD Game Tools for blink video](http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm)
  1. In the software, select your new video and click on *Bink it!*
  1. Change the name of the output file with *.bk2* extension.
  1. On the right, click on *Bink*
  1. Now that you have your own video, overwrite those files with your own bink video
       - %GRB_PATH%\\videos\\AMD.bk2
       - %GRB_PATH%\\videos\\Ubisoft_Logo.bk2
       - %GRB_PATH%\\videos\\TRC\\\*\\Epilepsy.bk2
       - %GRB_PATH%\\videos\\TRC\\\*\\WarningSaving.bk2

Remarque: The originals files are store with the *.bak* extension with the batch script.
