How to Load a Save File 1. Be sure the game is shut down/off as well as Steam or the platform you're on. 2. Locate your PC save file location. You will see folders called ManualSave-1, ManualSave-2, etc. For me on Steam it is located here: C:\Users\[Username]\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077 How the save structure works is inside each save folder are 3 things: metadata.9 sav.dat screenshot 3. It's recommended to backup all your save files first by copying them to a new folder before you start messing with your save files so you always have a good backup. 4. Create a new ManualSave folder with a -## after it. For example if your last folder is ManualSave-15, you might create one called ManualSave-16 or ManualSave-101. For modded game saves, some like to number them a high number to tell the difference. 5. Download/drop my save files into this folder so it looks like the other folder with the 3 files metadata.9, sav.dat, screenshot. 6. Start up Cyberpunk 2077 and go to load game and select the save game to load it. Troubleshooting Save Game Files Not Loading: If you ever load a save game from a backup copy/paste into this folder and it doesn't load or recognize it when you launch the game, it could be because Cyberpunk updates its save files from their cloud as well. Try loading your last game save to launch the game and to let Cyberpunk full update all saves from the cloud, save and then exit the game to shut it all down, exiting completely out the game. Then relaunch it and it should have refreshed everything and found the new game save.
