This is due to an error in Crowbar's qc decompilation/recompilation process (introduced crowbar Crowbar_2015-07-14_0.27), it is not a product of the modified smd files. Old solution (v0.10): use Crowbar_2014-11-02_0.24 New solution (v0.11): use Crowbar_2017-11-19_0.51.7z and fix artefact of decompilation bug (in the generated alyx.qc file, remove "$maxeyedeflection 90") ========== Change log ========== v0.10: initial release v0.11: recompile models using latest version of Crowbar_2017-11-19_0.51.7z and fix artefact of decompilation bug (in the generated alyx.qc file, remove "$maxeyedeflection 90") v0.12: update ep2 specialised models v0.13: add HL2 Cinematic Mod 2013 models v0.14: added CM2013 clean edition patch ========== CM2013 clean edition patch ========== The Half-life 2 cinematic mod 2013 (CM2013) contains a substantial amount of bad graffiti and visual objectification that serves no function (while distorting the atmosphere). In order to clean it, the following patch can be installed; Backup materials folder [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common]\CM2013\hl2\custom\1_CM_looseFiles\materials Copy (merge) HL2-CM2013-cleanPatch\materials folder contents to [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common]\CM2013\hl2\custom\1_CM_looseFiles\materials A similar patch was developed by GamerDude (http://gamebanana.com/textures/4433), although it is missing one image file. For the sake of reverse compatibility, I have retained all image mods created by GamerDude.
