##Mod Description
A Modern Palmont City Experience which revitalizes your game by replacing textures with new and detailed ones. 
Enjoy an enhanced visual appeal while retaining the core gameplay that you love.
Retex is also compatible with:

- NFSC Redux by KryZee
- NFSC W2C by MaxHwoy (Rockport City in Future Updates)
- NFSC Improventment Mod by Felipe
- NFSC Ultimate Mod by RaTT

## Important Note
Ensure your game is 4GB patched for the mod to function correctly. Download Link: https://ntcore.com/download/
The 4GB patch increases the amount of memory the game can use, preventing crashes or graphical issues when loading the high-quality textures.
To apply the patch, download a 4GB patch tool, run it, and select your NFSC.exe file to apply the changes.

## How to Install/Uninstall
Installation Steps:
- Extract NFSC_RETEX_1.0.rar to one of your storage drives/folder.
- Open NFSC_RETEX_1.0 folder.
- Drag and drop the TexturePacks and Scripts folders into the game folder. 
Replace all files if prompted. If needed you can back up your original files from 
previously installed mod before proceeding to ensure you can restore them.
- Enjoy!!!

ReTex Flares (Optional):
Part 1:
- Open Binary v2.8.3+ in User Mode. (https://nfsmods.xyz/mod/1638)
- Search and select Part-1_Flare_Install_Binary.end.
- Follow the displayed options to install.
- Save the file when prompted by selecting "Yes".
- Choose "No" when asked to run the game.

Part 2 (OGVi):
- Open OGVi v1.4 tool. (https://nfsmods.xyz/mod/5290)
- From the top menu, navigate to Game and select Carbon.
- Click File and select Open. Browse to the Carbon directory and select NFSC.exe.
- Press CTRL+I to import the script.
- Browse and select Part-2_Flare_OGVi_VltED.nfsms.
- Follow Instructions and Click Install.
- Press CTRL+S to save.

Part 2 (VltEd): (https://nfs-tools.blogspot.com/2019/02/nfs-vlted-v46-released.html)
- Open VltEd v4.6 tool.
- From the top menu, navigate to File and select Open.
- Browse to the Carbon directory.
- Press CTRL+I to import the script.
- Browse and select Part-2_Flare_OGVi_VltED.nfsms.
- Follow Instructions and Click Install.
- Press CTRL+S to save.

Uninstallation Steps:
1. Delete the TexturePacks folder from the game directory and remove Texwizard.asi and Texwizard.json from the Scripts folder.
2. If ReTex Flares were installed, Open Binary Usermode select Part-1_Flare_Install_Binary.end and choose option 3 to Restore to vanilla.
