This is my first tutorial on nexusmods and I don't speak English well, so please treat this with understanding.
For quite a long time I was looking for a guide or mod on how to remove the crosshairs, but I didn’t find it right away, since it’s not available on nexusmods, so I decided to post it.
You can use either my file or make changes to yours, since I don’t know if my file will work for you, but for convenience I will upload it.
The mod will not affect the stability of the game, crashes, or errors in any way.

Installation is extremely simple.

To install:
How to remove crosshair:
1. Navigate to this file by pressing Windows key and type "%localappdata%,press ENTER.
2. Find Back4Blood\Steam\Saved\SaveGames\PlayerSettingsGame.sav
3. Back up the PlayerSettingsGame.sav file
4. Replace your PlayerSettingsGame.sav file with mine
5. Done. Launch the game.

If for some reason you are left with a crosshair, or a startup error occurs or a crash occurs when entering or in the middle of the game, then do the following:
1. Navigate to this file by pressing Windows key and type "%localappdata%,press ENTER.
2. Find Back4Blood\Steam\Saved\SaveGames\PlayerSettingsGame.sav
3. Back up the PlayerSettingsGame.sav file
4. Open PlayerSettingsGame.sav with notepad.
5. Press left CTRL+F .
6. In that window,switch the "Direction" to "Down".
7. Search for: Reticle.
8. At "ReticleColor" "a:" set the number to 0.001 from 1. (Where 1 is completely opaque and 0.001 is completely transparent). (Personally, I set the value to 0.001)
9. Save the file.
10. Done. Launch the game.
